OPI - Planks a Lot

After knocking my middle finger for a fourth time, I was just too tired to repaint it again. It's been one of those weeks. I'm sure you've seen this a million times, but I enjoy it nonetheless :)

Face of Australia - Lemon Sorbet

I'll be honest, as soon as I put this polish on, I wanted to take it straight back off. I did 2 coats here but I probably needed 3 because if you enlarge the images, you'll notice gaps. Whilst I love the whole pastel yellow trend and own a few variations of this colour, every time I try it I get lobster hands and end up regretting choosing the colour.

 Just as I was about to take this polish off, I thought a glitter or shatter might redeem it slightly. I used OPI's Silver Shatter, and whilst I liked the result much better for my skin tone, it still only lasted about 4 hours before I decided to take it off.

Essie - Cute as a Button

This is one of those colours that is on just about every single nail blog. This classic pink/coral by Essie is such a nice colour to wear when it's hot. I did 2 coats, as well as one coat of Essie's Good to Go! top coat.

Essence - The Dawn is Broken

I don't own many proper greys so I decided to try Essence's 'The Dawn is Broken' because it wasn't just a flat grey colour. Whilst I thought it was unique and pretty cool in the bottle, it really didn't do much for my fingers. I got a slight case of lobster hands, and the black glitter just didn't pick up that well after I'd put on a top coat.
