Sally Hansen - Sorbet

Another one from the new Sally Hansen range. I was least looking forward to this one, thinking it would clash slightly against my skin tone but it ended up absolutely loving it. It has a soft sheen like all polishes from this range, and it was opaque in 2 coats.

Sally Hansen - Dune

There are so many excuses I could write up to explain my absence for the last couple of weeks, but firstly I can't be bothered, and really, they aren't very exciting. Today I wore Dune, from the new (to Priceline) Sally Hansen 'Smooth and Perfect' collection. I hadn't really read up on this collection because I didn't think it would ever hit Australian stores, but I'm so glad I picked up 6 of the shades (3 for 2 at Priceline at the moment). It applied opaquely in 3 coats, and I think it's the perfect subtle beige/peach manicure. It also has a very slight silver sheen, which I personally love.

OPI - Last Friday Night

I don't often say this, but I was in need of some glitter. And because I didn't have an hour to remove it, I layered it over Ulta3's Hollywood - a typical shimmery deep blue that every brand does. I love the sparkle of this, especially in the shade, and I'm interested in how this will work over different colours.

Maybelline - Green Park

I don't own many Maybelline nail polishes because there aren't many offered where I live. However, I do own a couple from the 'Mini Colo-rama' range. Green Park is my favourite of my Maybellines, a dusty-almost-mint shade. I wore this quite regularly before my blogging days began, and it usually applies in 2 thin coats. Today, however, it was a pain. It took 3 thicker-than-average coats to become opaque and it dried extremely slowly :/ It was most likely user error, but I'm not entirely sure what I did wrong. Anyway, it's a pretty colour for any season :)

Revlon - Autumn Berry

This colour has been out for years, but I always gave this polish a one second glance and move on, and I'm not sure why. This deep berry-red has a beautiful gold shimmer, and applied opaquely in two thin coats and was super shiny (no top coat used in these photos). Unfortunately there was no sun shining when I went outside to snap these pictures, but the first two photos are colour accurate.

Australis - Manic Panic

I'd forgotten I'd picked this one up when I bought all the newest releases from Australis. I wish I hadn't of, because this had the best formula I've ever used from an Australis polish. A pretty, bright purple, this applied opaquely in 2 coats with no top coat.

MAC - Midsummer's Dream

This seems like it would be extremely dupable, and it could be, but I can't dupe it from my collection. All my essie pale pinks are either not dusty enough or too purple toned. It applied almost opaquely in 2 coats, but I applied a 3rd to be sure. Its just one of those nice elegant kind of colours, but if you missed out on this from the Vera collection, I wouldn't really recommend wasting time searching for it.

MAC - Play Day

Firstly, I want to apologise for the lack of posts lately. I've been having issues with the sun, or lack thereof. Secondly, I pretty much love this colour. When I first applied it, my base coat was slightly chipped so it went on so weirdly. Once I figured out the reason why, I reapplied and it went on easily. This is 3 coats with a coat of Essie's Good to Go topcoat.
